According to data obtained by the Bureau of Labor Statistics from all industries in the United States in 2013, over 10,000 injuries were recorded due to fallen objects that resulted in days away from work.* The goal of this campaign is to share ideas and lessons learned about this topic, and raise awareness in order to prevent such incidents. This campaign is open to all AWEA member companies who wish to participate.
* Data obtained from U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and accounts for all injuries across all industries in the U.S. 听Data is not specific to the wind industry.
